Baby back ribs, baby ribs stuck in your toes, baby baby baby….whew….lots o’ baby…Look at the ribs on this baby! Well she is wearing a sheepskin parka onesy so I do admit it is difficult to visualize…why was I stalking a young child in Vienna? Why? I lead a lonely life yes I will give you that (I appreciate your honesty)…
Doesn’t this remind one of The Simpsons…Maggie? What you think? It is close as we are gonna get IRL (for the boomers amongst us, that is “In Real Life”)…
PRISM
Did I ever mention the time I purchased my first ever portable music player? Like back in the 1980’s? Well, it wasn’t a Sony Walkman, it was an el cheapo machine, like this:
I did upgrade at some point, whether it was due to stealing money, selling my body or BDay money I cannot recall…but I did end up with a genuine Sony machine, this skinny bugger that went almost everywhere with me:
Please do not feel bad for the “sell my body” comment, I never made much money selling anything attached to my body so I didn’t keep up my skills.
Why was this called “PRISM”…right, yes that was my very first pre-recorded tape I purchased to play in my little portable enjoyment that can be held in your hand…now, now, this a family show and let’s not go down that slutty road….
Who was PRISM? Prism was a Canadian band, from Vancouver, so many cool tunes, and if I was to pick one to listen to right now…hmmm…maybe See Forever Eyes…
Cool Shit of The Week
I went to Mexico City and didn’t find anything other than this to take a picture of….(not really but this is all you get for now).
Irish Communism? You bet….Dublin has a group if you need one (if Canada isn’t quite far enough along yet for you…)
Vienna Waits for you…. so I was told by B. Joel….
that is a direct link to the Title…and also a Canadian band from ‘back in the day’…sorry for the old references…but hey it is good for old folks and good for youngin’s to learn history….
But this is another tune I was playing the other day on repeat…so much easier to get music nowadays isn’t it? Next time I will relate how it was to listen to Pink Floyd The Wall on 8-track tape player…4 channels, no song selection, half a tune on one channel, then fades out to fade back in on next channel! Technology!
Prob should have to tell you about that whilst sitting on a chair just outside the kitchen, while the cord was pulled around corner and handset of phone at an odd angle…then you would have better idea….
